I was honored when Crash asked me to do this blog. I’ve never blogged before so I tried to get him to tell me what to do but he left it up to me. Thanks a lot Crash… Well, he did tell me what I can’t do. No cursing or shit talking…
That didn’t leave me much so I figured I would just write about flash. Bulldog is a street shop where the designs on the walls are still the most important thing we’ve got. 75 percent of the flash, we painted ourselves. I’m going to use this as an opportunity to finish that last 25 percent…
All the guys at the shop got in on these BULLDOG sheets. They’re all 15 X 20. It was really fun to paint with the whole crew.
That’s me and Raleigh gettin’ down on a couple new porkchop sheets. These are some real money makers.
My goal is to paint a whole bunch of new designs, along with my friends from other tattoo shops, while at the same time showing the progress of the walls in my shop. Hopefully this will show a few people that the tattoos you can pick off the walls are way cooler than any of the ones you’ll find on the Internet.
Jim Rosal and I did this poster-size sheet of flash. It’s 22 X 30. He’s an awesome guy to hang out with and the minute he drew the tiger for this sheet a customer walked in and he tattooed it on the guy’s belly. (*Editor’s Note: Robert Welington Holmes III and Aron Fredriksson also contributed to this sheet*)
