Rollo & Me Comic #6

The “Rollo & Me” strip is a series of stories told by Keith Underwood and illustrated by Dan Henk which appear regularly in Tattoo Artist Magazine. They chronicle Keith’s experiences living with and working alongside one of tattooing’s greatest icons of the 20th century- Mike ‘Rollo Banks’ Malone. Mike departed this life in 2007 but these stories represent Keith’s healing process and are figuratively supposed to occur on the couch of his therapist. Enjoy. There’s more to come. Top text: Johnny loved hanging around with Rollo early in the morning because Rollo would draw whatever the kid could think of. It was their game. “Draw a bear”, Johnny would say. “Ok”, says Rollo. “Now make him on fire!”; on and on it would go. One early morning Johnny rushed downstairs, anxious to have his newest “new idea” brought to life…

Bottom Text: He wanted to see what girls look like under their clothes…and, as usual, Rollo kindly obliged. (Momma Kindell wasn’t too happy that morning.)
