Oh London, how I love you. Every year for the past five years I have traveled the London convention, stayed at the same hotel with a family of friends and shared a booth with my good buddy Hunter Spanks. Every year I am so stoked that I have been able to pick up long-distance relationships with friends right on the spot and add some new ones. I’m not talking about just people from overseas, but folks right here in the states that I only get to see once a year across the pond. The friendships and relationships that we are able to build in our community are amazing. I am constantly impressed by the sense of camaraderie we have in this industry…

As you may know, the first five issues of TAM have become highly sought after and sales have recently been limited to full-set orders only due to our dwindling inventory. With this in mind we created TAM Volume 1, a book that consists of issues 1-5. The response to the prototype of this book at tattoo conventions all over the world has been unanimous, “We want this book!”
Phil Holt: For me, I think if I’m constantly studying and constantly trying to make things, then when the time comes where it’s like “Ooh, I need to say this,” I already have the formulas to say that. I’ve been practicing those words enough that I can articulate the whole sentence. But if you don’t ever practice those words you never get a chance to get into the conversation. (more…)
